Ladies directors pleased with CWI range push

LOCAL WOMEN sports activities directors stated the inclusion of three girls within the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Board of Administrators not too long ago is welcome and a sign of the instances.
Jamaica’s Diann Campbell was certainly one of three girls appointed to CWI’s board.
Louise Victor-Frederick of St Lucia joined Campbell as the opposite new appointee alongside achieved Trinidadian attorney-at-law Debra Coryat-Patton, who makes a return to the board.
Former Netball Jamaica president Marva Bernard and sports activities advisor and administrator Carole Beckford stated the inclusion of extra girls on the CWI board degree can solely be optimistic for West Indies cricket.
Bernard stated it was important that girls had been coming ahead to serve in boardrooms of sports activities, which traditionally, are male-dominated, and that it’s a signal that issues are altering.
