You’re warmly invited to hitch us for the second in an occasional collection of readings and recitals referred to as Chapter & Verse by which we introduce you to Guyanese writing and poetry that you could be not know or to reacquaint you with favorite authors and poets. This month we characteristic the work of Wilson Harris, on the anniversary of his birthday. Readings will embody scenes from Palace of the Peacock, Carnival, Genesis of the Clowns and Jonestown and there can be a recital of a handful of Harris’ poems alongside work that they’ve impressed.
