Lileana Blain Cruz is a Drama League and Obie award successful, and Tony nominee, director and playwright from New York Metropolis and Miami. She is the recipient of the Drama League’s Founders Award for Excellence in Directing, and is presently the resident director of Lincoln Middle Theater. Lileana was named a Doris Duke Artist, a Lincoln Middle Rising Artist, and a United States Artists Fellow. Current initiatives embody: The Pores and skin of Our Enamel (Lincoln Middle, Tony nomination); Marys Seacole (LCT3, Obie Award).
Edwidge Danticat is a Haitian-born American E book Award winner and Nationwide E book Award finalist. She is the writer of a number of books, together with Breath, Eyes, Reminiscence (Oprah E book Membership choice), Krik? Krak!, (Nationwide E book Award finalist), and The Farming of Bones (American E book Award winner). She can be the editor of The Butterfly’s Manner: Voices from the Haitian Dyaspora in america and The Beacon Better of 2000: Nice Writing by Males and Ladies of All Colours and Cultures. She lives in Miami along with her husband and daughters.
