This Sunday, the Indo-Caribbean Cultural Centre, with the Ameena Gafoor Institute, is internet hosting considered one of their weekly public conferences with audio system from Fiji, Guyana, Suriname, and Trinidad to debate “The Standing and Way forward for the Sugarcane Trade within the Indian Diaspora.” The dialogue shall be adopted by a Q+A session.

JAGNNATH SAMI (Fiji) – Former CEO of Fiji Sugar Cane Growers Council, former Basic Secretary of Fiji Cane Growers Affiliation, and Former Board Member of Sugar Fee of Fiji.
DR. TURHAN DOERGA (Suriname/Guyana) – Guide, Adviser and Researcher on sugar in India. Retired from an organization that distributes sugar to greater than 4000 mainstream shops in North Europe.
DR. TARA SINGH (Guyana) – Author and researcher, and former lecturer within the School of Social Sciences on the College of Guyana. Former Senior Commonwealth Researcher and Fulbright Scholar.
PT. DONNIE SAMLAL (Trinidad) – third technology who had labored in Caroni 1975 Restricted sugar property. Energetic below the management of Davica Thomas to assist ex-workers obtain their promised lands.
