Trinidad-based inventive social enterprise East Yard continues on its mission to broaden entry to artwork from Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean and diaspora in nations the place there’s at present much less entry.

One such establishment that has answered the decision to associate is HOMME. Based by Amir Browder and situated in Washington D.C. – HOMME is a boutique for rising artists of all disciplines and gives a platform for artists to exhibit and promote their artwork in an inmate gallery expertise.
From October 7-20, 2022, HOMME will play host to “Identical Distinction,” – The Cross-Cultural Showcase of labor from Trinidad and Tobago, St Lucia, the USA and extra.
“I’m a platform for rising and impartial artists of all disciplines to specific themselves with out restrictions,” says HOMME’s founder, Amir Browder.
Curated by Foderingham and Browder, “Identical Distinction” has a three-day opening weekend extra akin to a pageant which can kick off on Friday, October 7 with a gap night time reception and ‘Trini’ jam session, showcasing the paintings of Trinidadian artists Angelica Alleyne, Arlene Bartholomew-Singh, Kamille Andrews, Kevon Gareth Foderingham, Sade Francois, Cleo Lewis, Daniel Lewis, Junnel Lewis, Latoya Lewis, Jamie J. Philbert, Stacey Leigh Ross, Kechervi Voisin, Walda Waithe and Tavernelle Wells.
Saturday, October 8 will supply a free daytime private branding workshop for creatives, facilitated by Foderingham. Whereas Saturday night will characteristic a guide studying from Foderingham and US writer A.S.
